Woman gets remains of husband lost in Korean War

After 63 years waiting, 94-year-old Clara Gantt received her husband’s remains.  Army Sgt. 1st Class Joseph E. Gantt finally returned home. Gantt was missing during the Korean War. According to returning U.S. soldiers, Gantt died as a war prisoner in 1951, but his remains were just identified recently and the information wasn’t immediately sent to the missing personnel office. About 7,900 Americans are still missing in the Korea War.
