A Canadian man named Tom Crist won $40 million lottery prize in May 2013, but he decided to donate all of them. In February 2012, Tom Crist’s wife Jan died of cancer at the age of 57. So he unhesitatingly donated $1.2 million to Tom Baker Cancer Center where Jan was hospitalized before her death. The Canadian Cancer Society is the next charity under consideration. Tom Crist said that he was very fortunate, he served as president of an electricity company for 44 years, he could look after himself and his children and they didn’t have to worry about the future. So “I don’t really need that money.” He said.
