Ernest Seton had a bad dad

Ernest Seton

Ernest Seton was a world famous author, wildlife artist, explorer, environmentalist, Indian culture positive communicator and one of the founding pioneers of the Boy Scouts of America, he  was awarded the Daniel Giraud Elliot Medal in 1928. But do you know? When he was 21 years old, his father told him how much money he had spent for him, even the expense of his childhood and his birth. Finally, he paid all of these expenses, but he insisted on changing his surname to Seton, and never spoken to his father since then.
