Cans and can opener

The can opener was invented 48 years after the can.

In 1806, French trader Nicola Abel produced the first batch of cans and sent to Napoleon’s battleships. In 1810, British businessman Peter Durand invented tin cans. An American Ezra Warner invented can opener in 1858, and applied for a patent. So the invention of can opener was 48 years after can.
